The 2014 Tampa Bay Buccaneers may have only been 2-14, but they lost a lot of close games by 7 points or less, and broke a lot of records, so thought it would be good to share those with you as were updating the RECORDS section.

OFFENSE

Mike Evans with 12 TDs in 2014 is now tied with Doug Martin in 2nd place (2012) behind James Wilder (1984) who has 13 TD in a season.

As far as receiving goes however, 12 Touchdowns is No.1 in that department.

Evans is also now in 8th place with most yards in a game with 209 yards at Washington Redskins Nov. 16th in that Bucs win.

We know last year was the first time a Bucs team had 2 Wide Receivers go over 1,000 yards in the same season. But what you may not know is those two Bucs have moved up higher in the standings.  Mike Evans with his 1,051 yards comes in 12th on all time list, while Vincent Jackson with his 1,004 yards comes in 16th.

Danny Lansanah becomes the latest Bucs to join the 2 defensive TD list, as Wayne Haddix has 3 in 1990 and Derrick Brooks has 4 in 2002

Rookie Kicker Patrick Murray kicked his way onto the Bucs record books with the current 2nd place career accurate FG % 20 of 24 which is 83.3% of his attempts. No. 1 is Connor Barth from 2009-2012 (91 of 108). Murray also moved into the no.10 spot with his 20 Field Goals. Murray also tied 3rd place with 3rd longest FG with his 55 Harder against New Orleans.
