The 2015-16 Hockey East Preseason Coaches Poll was released on Monday morning and the UConn Huskies men’s ice hockey team was picked to finish ninth in the 12 team conference.
The Boston College Eagles were picked to win Hockey East and are followed by the Boston University Terriers, the defending national champion Providence Friars, UMass Lowell River Hawks and the Northeastern Huskies.
UConn finished ninth in their first season of Hockey East play during the 2014-15 season with a record of 7-11-4 (10-19-7 overall).
