2015 NFL Draft: Speedster wide receiver Breshad Perriman to visit Eagles

Central Florida v Houston

If the Philadelphia Eagles are looking for a speedy wide receiver, then they might have found one in UCF wide receiver Breshad Perriman. According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, Perriman will be visiting the Eagles today as he has had a busy week already visiting the Detroit Lions, Baltimore Ravens and having private workouts with the New York Giants and Houston Texans.

Perriman is flying up draft boards because of his ridiculous Pro Day last week, where he ran 4.27 seconds in the 40-yard dash. That type of speed would be great in Chip Kelly’s offense as he could be the missing link for a deep threat that the Eagles wide receiver corps is missing.

Perriman also fits the kind of wide receiver that Kelly wants as he is 6-foot-3 and 215 lbs. something no team can over look. This past season at UCF, he had 50 receptions for 1,044 yards and nine touchdowns. With this wide receiver class being so deep it is possible that Perriman can slide into the late first round carrying momentum from his Pro Day over into pre-draft workouts.

A wide receiver corp that has Perriman, Matthews, Austin, Huff, and Cooper is not so bad on paper. Perriman is the type of player that can be a game breaker that defenses would have to game plan for.
