2016 NCAA Men’s Basketball Rankings – Coaches Poll – Preseason (Nov. 2)

The first of the 2016 NCAA Men’s Basketball preseason rankings came out on Thursday and we see co-number one teams in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

The Kentucky Wildcats and North Carolina Tar Heels top the Coaches Poll. The pair is followed by the Maryland Terrapins, Duke Blue Devils and Kansas Jayhawks in the top five.

The UConn men’s basketball team comes in at No. 24 in a tie with the Purdue Boilermakers. There are no other teams from the American Athletic Conference ranked.

The Cincinnati Bearcats and Tulsa Golden Hurricane are the only teams from the American in the others receiving votes.
