The Dream Bowl is a college all-star game that features see of the best FCS, Division II and Division III talent in the country. And after scouting, evaluating, and recruiting the nation’s top small school prospects, the Dream Bowl (an event Optimum Scouting works with) is finally ready to announce it’s final roster.

This year’s crop of talent (full rosters here) features NFL quality talent at every position. In just Optimum Scouting’s second year with the event, we’re excited for the growth of the game, and the success this year in finding unique and coveted NFL team is a testament to those involved with the event.

The “Crusaders” roster is led by Gannon QB Liam Nadler, who possess ideal NFL pocket passer size (6’6, 230) along with a strong arm and an offense that developed his ball placement in mid-range route and gave him audible control. Also on the Crusaders roster is receiver Marcus Grant (Iowa and Boston College transfer with awesome size/length), offensive tackle Ben Curtis of Delaware, defensive tackle Dominique Jones (former Texas Longhorn), safety Troy Donahue of Dartmouth, and Morehead State Justin Grier, who finished with 8 interceptions in this season.

The “Patriots” roster is led by former Arizona standout quarterback Jesse Scroggins, who’s season was cut short at Lindenwold this year but certainly has a resume that will intrigue pro teams. Additionally, the Patriots feature quarterback EJ Hilliard (former Florida International starter), receiver Karim Jones, and Hampton standout defensive end Miles Grooms.

After just a few days of releasing our rosters, we’ve seen ample NFL interest based on our roster’s talent, with nearly half the league reaching out after confirming our final rosters. We’re expecting a heavy supply of NFL scouts as well as CFL teams in attendance for this year’s game.

The game has built a great reputation with the right people: past players and professional teams looking for talent for their rosters. So, if you’re a media person or a fan of the draft, the Dream Bowl looks forward to helping you along the evaluation pathway to finding the top small school “sleepers” that have become key in NFL draft scouting.

And if you’re an agent or a player, I encourage you to learn more about the game, realize why choosing a game is about where you can promote your skills and be appreciated and use me as a resource to be considered for the event.

Optimum Scouting will be there. Professional teams will be there. Some of the top FCS, Division 2 and Division 3 talent will be there. And if you’re a player who wants to shine from the lower levels of football, use the Dream Bowl to reach your Dream Job as a professional football player.
