6. Arizona Cardinals – Tristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa
The Cardinals have been less than stellar on defense this season, giving up 28.8 points per game (30th in the NFL). Thankfully, they have rookie quarterback Kyler Murray, who has performed this season but has been sacked 46 times.
That being said, the Cardinals grab Wirfs, who is a right tackle but has shown the ability to play left tackle this season for the Hawkeyes.
7. Jacksonville Jaguars – Jeffrey Okudah, CB, Ohio State
The Jaguars take one of the best cornerbacks in Okudah, who has 29 total tackles, 7 pass deflections and 3 interceptions for the Buckeyes. The 6-foot-1 defensive back should be a nice replacement for shutdown cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
8. Atlanta Falcons – Isaiah Simmons, LB, Clemson
The Falcons have been a trainwreck on defense this season due to injuries and poor play. Towards the end of the top-10, they get Simmons, who is an athletic hybrid safety/linebacker that can not only stop the run but drop back in coverage.
9. New York Jets – Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama
The Jets make a splash at No. 9 and get quarterback Sam Darnold another weapon at wide receiver. Jeudy will be a nice compliment on the outside, opposite of another speedster in Robby Anderson.
10. Los Angeles Chargers – Justin Hebert, QB, Oregon
The Chargers get their heir apparent to Philip Rivers in Justin Hebert. The Oregon Duck signal-caller was projected to be a top-10 pick in last year’s draft but opted to come back for his senior year.
However, it is not set in stone that Los Angeles drafts a quarterback. According to Pro Football Network Insider Ben Allbright, the Chargers could make a trade for Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.
