I hope everyone is enjoying their day off, if they get one. Today’s game is early, a nice 12:30pm start. So because I literally just woke up and realized I need to pump this bad boy out, it’s going to be short.
So today is Christopher Columbus day, a day most businesses take off because some dickbag from Spain didn’t really find anything. Here’s something that bothers me, we teach our children that Columbus discovered America even though he didn’t. What a real fucking asshole huh. The only thing he discovered was it was a good idea to put polio in blankets and wrap the Indians in them. That’s right, I said Indians and not Native Americans, so suck it.
So today’s drink is called the Columbus Cocktail.
1 1/2 oz gold rum
3/4 oz apricot brandy
1 oz lime juice
So if you’re wondering how to make your Columbus day better then drink some rum. Nothing says a good time like rum and not wearing pants.
