As the UConn Huskies football program continues to grow, the talent of the players continues to get better. And as that gets better, the more recognition players are getting.
This is the case for the 2008 Huskies as three members of the team have been invited to college all-star games. Defensive end Cody Brown, cornerback Darius Butler and offensive tackle Will Beatty have all been invited to participate in some of the all-star games.
Brown has been invited to participate in the Senior Bowl, East-West Shrine Game, and the Texas vs The Nation Game while Butler was invited to the East-West Shrine Game and the Senior Bowl. Beatty was asked to participate in the Texas vs The Nation Game.
The East-West Shrine Game will take place on January 17th in Houston, TX while the Senior Bowl is on January 24th in Mobile, AL. The Texas vs The Nation Game takes place on January 31st in El Paso, TX.
