Here’s another team that might trade back in the draft. Despite falling in last place last season, the Golden State Warriors’ struggles were more of a fluke than anything. Kevin Durant is gone. Steph Curry missed the majority of the season to injuries. Klay Thompson didn’t play at all due to an injury.

Next year, those two star guards are back in the mix, and they aren’t going to be pushed out of the starting lineup. So, if Edwards becomes the second pick, getting drafted to Warriors, he might not find himself in the best position as a top selection. The Warriors might trade their pick to move back. Once again, though, they did their due diligence by working out Edwards, rightfully so.
