Fanfest -September 19, 2009
The Blues have announced the return of Fanfest, and this year’s format takes on a different shape than we have seen in the past. Fanfest will take place on Sept. 19th prior to the team’s preseason game against Dallas.
The game against Dallas drops at 7pm, and Fanfest will take place between 3pm and 6pm prior to the game in the concourses.
Fanfest, What is it?
This year Fanfest takes on this shape:
- 3pm, door open and there are a variety of activities to choose from including a kids zone which features face painting, a meet and greet with Louie and many many other events.
- Also at 3pm, there is an All-Star area with player and photo stations (these take place between 4:30-6:00pm). Fans also can meet the broadcast team and take part in various other activities, inflatable games and Blues Mystery Bags.
- 6pm, Fanfest ends.
- 7pm, Blues take on the Dallas Stars in preseason action.
Ticket Info
Season ticket holders do not have to purchase anything to get in to the game or Fanfest.
For the rest of us, tickets are very affordable, starting at $10 for a ticket to Fanfest AND an upper level ticket to the game. Plaza level tickets are $30. Tickets go on sale Sept. 2nd at the Blues website or at the Scottrade Box Office.
Highlights
Clearly, getting a shot at autographs and pictures with the players is a big enough selling point, but toss in a game (even a preseason one) for just $10 is a steal. Fun, affordable entertainment so you really can’t go wrong here.
However, since the Blues did make a big splash at the end of last season, and the hype is ever growing, plan on one big crowd on the 19th that are just as eager to grab an autograph as you are.
The best part of Fanfest? Fanfest signals the season is almost here! Let’s Go Blues!!!
