31. Boston Bruins at Nashville Predators. Now with 100% more twang!

What a way to start a three game road trip. The Bruins are headed down to Nashville to play a goalie who is smoking hot. Rinne currently leads the NHL in GAA, SV% and wins. He’s single-handedly kept a Nashville team that is mediocre in scoring in the playoff hunt. The team posts a 1.93goals against per game but is only 18th in goals scored per game. It is incredible to see what a hot goalie can do.

But yeah, the Bruins lately man. After Saturday’s choke job against the Senators it is getting harder and harder to see the light at the end of the playoff tunnel. If the playoffs started today the Bruins would not be in it for the first time in what seems like a decade. I know that doesn’t mean shit but if you told me that Florida would be higher in the standings than the Bruins I would have called you crazy, but here we are.

It isn’t just one or two injuries. It is a multitude of things. Krejci coming back will help but it isn’t the end all/be all of the Bruins woes. And no, the Bruins aren’t getting Taylor Hall.
