The Cavs held a 59-43 lead at halftime.
3rd Quarter – Klay Late Rescue
The Warriors started the third quarter with three consecutive missed treys (Draymond Green, Klay Thompson on this poor choice…

…and Harrison Barnes) and LeBron James finally capped everything off with a dunk after an offensive rebound by Tristan Thompson.
Stephen Curry then committed his fourth personal on a rebound by Kevin Love, with his coach Steve Kerr flabbergasted by why Curry would commit a foul in that instance. Kerr left Steph in, though.
After J.R. Smith hit a catch-and-shoot triple, Curry splashed from the left arc, courtesy of a nice pass from Green:

Later, Andre Iguodala drove in and got fouled as the Red Sea parted then closed, but hobbled a bit on the landing. He had gotten slightly injured in the first half on the turnover to LeBron.
Klay finally hit a three from the right corner, but later missed a runner. Smith missed a three and Draymond went coast-to-coast for a layup past Thompson.
Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue called timeout as the Warriors got the Cavs’ lead to a respectable 70-51 with 6:53 remaining.
After the timeout and a couple of possessions, Curry drove in valiantly and drew this and-one layup:

Irving hit another three, but Festus Ezeli managed to slam home a missed layup by Steph.
But James got a lefty layup after a swing pass that had the Warriors’ defense off-balance. Curry came back and dished a bounce pass that went off a Cavs player’s leg and, with no whistle for the kick-ball, LeBron went coast-to-coast for the slam dunk.
Kerr called timeout as the Cavs stretched their lead out to 76-57 with 4:38 to play.
Out of the timeout, Klay got a layup on a lead pass from Draymond, then after James drew free throws versus Ezeli, Klay finally swished a jumper on a dribble-and-pop iso from the right wing against Richard Jefferson.
James pulled up from three from the right arc, Curry made a bad pass in which he wanted a foul on Tristan Thompson, but Shaun Livingston eventually scored a running jumper.
After a Cavs shotclock violation on an airball by Smith, although Jefferson caught it then passed back too late to Smith, Klay hit this three on a pump fake:

Jefferson missed a three, then with the Warriors offense stagnant, Green gave up the ball to Klay, who hit another triple late in the shotclock with really no choice.
James missed a trey, then Klay went lefty layup to pull the Warrriors to within single-digits, 80-71, heading into the final frame, after Smith missed back-rim on a deep three at the buzzer. That gave Klay 22 points. Curry had 25.
