Well, that didn’t last long…
After just under a month of being the highest rated commitment in the Badgers 2016 football class, 4-star safety Craig Watts announced his decommitment from the program (per Badger247).

With over 40 offers from nearly every program in the “who’s-who” of college football after him, Wisconsin getting his commitment was a huge coup for head coach Paul Chryst and Co.
Yet, Watts took a previously scheduled unofficial visit to Colorado just a week after announcing his commitment to UW. He was the highest rated recruit from the state of Florida, and the first 4-star rated recruit out of the state of Florida to ever commit to the Badgers program.
Getting him in the fold was considered a huge moment, but many also saw this recruitment as far from over. It took just under 30 days for those concerns to become truth though.
