Alright, enough with the whole “Chipper Jones is fat” thing. Yeah, yeah…we all saw the picture.
Matter of fact, Jones did too, telling The Atlanta Journal-Constitution:
“I’m also fat now, from what I hear,” Jones said, smiling as he winced while taking his jersey over his sunburned arms. “I’m a little worried, this is the first time I’ve ever been called fat.”
“Thing is, I’m seven pounds lighter than I’ve ever been in camp, and now I’m fat,” Jones said. “I weigh 226, 227. Usually I’m 235.”
But, we’re all missing the real story here…have you seen Atlanta Braves fan Megan Perry’s Chipper Jones tattoo?
I mean, someone probably thought she was a little obsessed with the future Hall of Famer when she changed her Twitter handle to @chipsgirl10…but now?
I caught up with with the SoCal native and asked her about her motivation…here’s the response.
