Home Opener – Mad Man Blues Fan

The home opener is upon us and we take a moment to recognize a celebrity fan that you likely never knew supported the same team you do. Are you excited Blues fans? Well, he is and his new spot makes it quite apparent. The Blues take on the Atlanta Thrashers tonight with a special ceremony taking place before the game to honor the incredible Al MacInnis and to unveil his new statue outside the Scottrade Center.

Finally. Finally hockey returns to St. Louis. While there is a ton of excitement for the Cardinals in the playoffs, there is also a wealth devoted to the Blues, who kicked off the season in great fashion sweeping Detroit over in Sweden.

Are you a fan? If so, you share a common bond with a very famous individual, Don Draper – The AskMen.com #1 most influential person in 2009. So he may be a fictional character and this list may be extremely suspect as Usain Bolt is #2 ahead of President Obama in third (Um, what?) but the fact remains the man behind Don Draper is as devote a Blues fan as you are.  Jon Hamm, star of the very popular show Mad Men which is shown on AMC, clearly bleeds blue as he proves in this commercial which not only will air starting tonight, but also will be shown on the jumbo-tron at Scottrade.

Check it out, it’s well worth the watch, and I couldn’t agree more – T.J. Oshie Hamm works for either a boy or girl.

Get excited Blues fans, this was the night we were waiting for.
