In case you wanted to feel old…Torii Hunter’s son, Torii Jr., made it official and signed his letter of intent to play college football next season for Notre Dame.
The Fighting Irish are, obviously, are banking on the senior wide receiver having the same hands that made his father a nine-time Gold Glove recipient. We already knew that he has his old man’s hops.
Of course, before he does anything in South Bend, the younger Hunter will have to get over a broken leg that he suffered last month while practicing up for the the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
Oh, in case you were wondering, Torii Jr. led the Prosper (Texas) Eagles to a 10-3 record. He had 75 receptions, good for 1261 yards and 16 touchdowns.
