The San Diego Padres did a really nice thing by donating over 11,000 Little League uniforms to various teams in the local area. Here’s Bo Rosny with a look at some former Major Leaguers in their old Little League duds.
Here’s former Toronto Blue Jay Tim “Crabbie” Crabtree in a brown uniform that looks a lot like those of the Padres in the late 1970s.
Former Cincinnati Reds infielder Calvin “Pokey” Reese is shown here in his Piggly Wiggly uniform.
Finally, this little hotshot is Brett Butler, who played for the Braves at age eight in 1965 and at age 26 in 1983.
