The 76ers have officially signed Nerlens Noel and Michael Carter-Williams.

The New Orleans Pelicans drafted Nerlens Noel 6th overall in the 2013 NBA Draft, but he was traded to the 76ers later that night. The 76ers gave up Jrue Holiday to get Noel, so obviously Noel is a great player with great potential. Noel is great at rebounding and defense. That’s everything you need in a center. I really liked the the trade to get Noel, I think that Sam Hinkie has really turned this franchise around.

Nerlens Noel’s Contract Details: The 6-foot-11 center out of Kentucky [Noel] is set to make $3,172,320 this season and $3,315,120 next season. The Sixers will have team options of $3,457,800 in 2015-16 and $4,384,490 in 2016-17. (Via Keith Pompey)

Michael Carter-Williams was drafted 11th overall by the 76ers. He is a tremendous defender, and he is a great passer. He’s a very unselfish point guard, and that’s definitely something I like to see.

Michael Carter-Williams’ Contract Details: The 6-6 point guard [Carter-Williams] will make $2,200,920 this season and $2,300,040 next season. The Sixers have team options of $2,399,040 in 2015-16 and $3,183,526 in 2016-17. (Via Keith Pompey)

These two guys are very important pieces to this 76ers team.
