The amateur boxing scene here in North Texas has taken a bit of a respite with the end of the school year keeping most kids focused on their school work and not their boxing. However, this all comes to an end as the 7th Annual Joe Gomez Memorial Boxing Tournament takes place this weekend. The late Joe Gomez devoted his life to the sport of boxing for over 50 years; this weekend’s tournament is a small way of showing our appreciation.
When: May 29 & 30, 2010 Saturday & Sunday

Time: Tournament will start at 2:00 PM on both days
