Oshie Scores from his Knees

Oshie’s goal against the Nashville Predators in the season finale was one of those incredible plays that needs to be seen to believed. It are plays like the one in the video above (at the :37 mark) that make fans able to completely overlook the off-ice issues concerning the young forward.

What missed practice?

T.J. Oshie is an immensely gifted hockey player. We’ve known this around the St. Louis area for quite a while now. He still has plenty to learn and still has plenty of development ahead of him, both in the arena and outside of it, but one thing is absolutely certain – he can pull off some pretty unthinkable plays.

One can only hope that the unreal goal we saw him score in the season finale is just a taste of what’s to come – a full season of Oshie at his best with no off-ice issues in 2011-12.
