Unless you were living under a rock, you know that former shortstop Barry Larkin was voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame on Monday.  That aside…it was another former shortstop’s apparent experience living under a rock that made news.

Nomar Garciaparra is in the news this week for casting doubt that there ever was a moon landing. I can’t fault him for being skeptical…the man is 38-years-old and there has never been a man on the moon in his lifetime.

The “other” Jason Grilli was arrested this week for cocaine trafficking, a development the Pirates pitcher is following closely.  Arrested with Grilli was a man named Valentine Torres. No word on whether the former Subway Series managers are closely following this story as well.
