When the St. Louis Cardinals agreed to terms with free agent Randy Choate earlier in the week…little did they know they were getting a reliever with ties to sitcom royalty.
Sort of.
I’m not really sure when the 37-year-old lefty’s Wikipedia page was hacked (for lack of a better term), but the result is awesome.
It just goes to show you that you can’t believe everything you read on the internet. That said, I always enjoy the opportunity to go back and watch some classic “Seinfeld” clips.

Choate made an appearance on the “Bob and TJ Raines Show” on 1380AM in St. Louis Friday afternoon and, well, confirmed what we all knew was not true.
Randy Choate is NOT the son of fictional television character Mabel Choate and sadly…his Wikipedia Page has been updated.
