Not for the faint of heart, nor is it for you if your into quick short video clips. This 1 Hour and 45 Minute long video documents the 1999 and 2000 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: which I call the Shaun King Years. It begins with a quick look through the poor showings of Trent Dilfer, his revival, and eventual fall from Tampa Bay caused by an injury at Seattle.
Several key games are paid closer attention to, including Shaun Kings first start on Monday Night Football against the Minnesota Vikings, the 1999 NFC Championship Game vs the St. Louis Rams, and the 2000 Monday Night Football game many consider to be the best Bucs game ever played: St.Louis Rams at Tampa Bay-The Rematch.
Narrated, it shows the Bucs of that era and the changes the team went through. The chase for a home field playoff game in both seasons, and how it all fell apart at the end of 2000 over a missed Field Goal. Each year the Bucs tried to improve the team, but each year they got a little worse in doing so.
So Kick Back and enjoy a little Bucs football, or save this for next week’s BYE. Whether you lived through this, or its history to you, I think you’ll enjoy the almost full coverage of two seasons of crucial Bucs football.
