Sorry for my absence the last two and a half weeks. And I really do mean that I’m sorry. It was not unavoidable. Sure, I’ve been busy, but not greatly more so than usual — and certainly not such that I should have disappeared off the face of the earth for two weeks plus, not with everything going on in the volleyball world right now.
I’m gonna slog through those remaining conference pieces this week. They won’t be as prose-heavy as the last ones, except maybe the last couple on the really big conferences. Worlds, god I don’t know. I hate that I missed so much of it already. I know this isn’t what anyone wants to see me say, but it’s the truth — this blog just isn’t my first priority anymore. I’m not planning to quit, and I’m grateful Bill’s been around to keep some content flowing, but I’ve been devoting my spare-time energies (what few I do have) to something new over the last few weeks. I’m not sure if I’ll share it here. It’s too early to do so right now, and it has nothing to do with volleyball or this blog.
So consider this my latest “actually I am still here” post. Regular transmissions resuming soon (and I mean it!).
