A brief geography lesson

Ever since the site joined Yardbarker, we have been graced by increased readership, and a more vibrant comment section. What we haven’t quite found yet is a bastion of well informed, articulate commentary. Sure, there are some diamonds in there, and I love those, because I don’t mind debate or being corrected if I am mistaken. I do truly enjoy the unhinged, nonsensical comments more than almost everything though.

Earlier this week, I posted an article regarding the debate over Robert Griffin III and Andrew Luck earlier this week, responding to a particular point from Bomani Jones. My point was simply that Indianapolis doesn’t need Luck to be Robert Griffin, and that he has been better than the two more worth comparisons (Peyton Manning and Curtis Painter). The intent was misconstrued in a couple of different ways, which was my fault for not being clearer. For example, a Seahawks fan interpreted this as a simple debate over who should be Rookie of the Year, and introduced Russell Wilson to the debate, which, had that been the intent of the piece, it would have been a worthy, valid point, and I think Wilson is a deserving candidate. Everything after that? Completely bonkers.

I don’t know what you’ve smoking, but I bet it is illegal. You forgot one important Rookie, Russel Wilson of the Seahawks!!!! He is way more deserving of the ROY then the other Rookies. RG3 is very close to him for the honors, but “LUCK”, that’s a joke. Look at his turn overs and his QB Ratings, he is no where near the quality that Wilson and RG3 are. He will get it though, because the East Coast sport writers are so bias, that is why I don’t give a f**k what they think, they’re all a bunch whores feading of the East Coast lack of mentality. ****GO SEAHAWKS****

Let’s ignore the spelling and syntax errors for a bit (feading?), and just go to one of the points he is making… Andrew Luck will win the ROY over Wilson and RG3 because of East Coast Bias.

On the map above I have helpfully circled Washington DC, home of the Redskins and RG3, and Indianapolis, home of the Colts. I leave you to reach your own conclusions.

Bunch whores!
