I know that many people have been professing their disappointment in the Wild and how they only earned the 8th seed in the west, but underneath it all, there is a tempest a brewin’. Since 2008, 5 long years, the big 4 sports teams in Minnesota have combined for 1 playoff victory. Also since that time, the Gopher’s basketball team has one NCAA Tournament victory. The football team has won no bowl games.
My plea, then, Minnesota. If the Wild win today, please don’t riot in the streets. Show a little bit of restraint.
