A spring training of calm

Remember that time when Jonathan Papelbon was trying to become a starter last year. Remember that time where we had Dice-K mania and so on and so forth.
Well when the Boston Red Sox enter the 2008 Spring Training Campaign there will be nothing to worry about, at least we think so now. The biggest thing to worry about is possibly acquiring Octavio Dotel or how your backup catcher role will play out your team is sailing smooth. Or if Buchholz will be starting his season in AAA or the MLB. That is all we have as Sox fans right now.
With this ease and calm to the new season one has to wonder if the Red Sox will come out hungry and willing and wanting to prove something. They are defending champions, they are a damn good squad of 25 but there is no Dice-K trying to prove himself. Mike Lowell does not have to show how good he is to be re-signed, Pedroia can relax a little at second base knowing he is a hometown favorite.
My question is: What will rally the troops to go after another World Series title?
Put your thoughts in the comments section.
I feel that every team in Major League Baseball wants to win the World Series, but there is an event or happening in a game or a spring training story line that gives that World Series winning team that extra push to win it all. For us last year it was the back-to-back-to-back-to-back homeruns that got things rolling for Boston and Buchholz no-hitter.
What will it be this year?
God, I just want baseball season to be here already!
