Some of the AAC Football Fever staff members have been hand selected to give their weekly picks for each American Athletic Conference game.
Blake Lovell, Mitch Wilcox, Jay Saunders, Zach Rastall, and Al Burke will test their knowledge by contesting me each and every week for bragging rights (and maybe a gratifying pat on the back) at the end of the season.
That’s two straight weeks that the aacfootballfever.com experts finished unscathed with their picks, and that can only mean one thing (queue Miranda Lambert): “Got a real good feeling somethin’ bad about to happen.”
It hasn’t been typical that the upper powers in the American have displayed their collective dominance, but that’s been the case for Memphis, Cincinnati, UCF, East Carolina, and Houston, which have all combined for a 12-0 record since November 14. That streak is guaranteed to come to an end this weekend, however, with some important matchups that will factor into the postseason outlook and determine who grabs the co-championship alongside the Tigers.
With only one more expert pick-em remaining (bowl games), staff bragging rights are on the line as much rides on the Week 15 slate:
