It was a solid week five for me, as I went 11-3. For some reason I decided to pick Wisconsin over Ohio State, which was just dumb. I'll have less guts this week.
Navy 24, Air Force 17 – I could use this space to make a joke about the government shutdown, but instead I'll just share how excruciating and heartbreaking it is to be an Indians fan and love the city of Cleveland.
Florida State 34, Maryland 24 – Florida State pulls away late as Maryland is blinded by their own uniforms.
Clemson 55, Syracuse 14 – It's a good thing the ACC strengthened their football by bringing in Syracuse.
Georgia 48, Tennessee 14 – Instead of this, can we have four more quarters of Georgia – LSU?
Miami 45, Georgia Tech 31 – Don't step on Stephan Morris' toes. Do not do it.
Oklahoma State 44, Kansas State 20 – Mike Gundy should play a jail warden in a movie about the downfall of a college football program in the south.
LSU 34, Mississippi State 7 – The pregame intro at Tiger Stadium now consists of an endless loop of Les Miles clapping, then pulling the grass out of the ground in Death Valley and eating it.
Oklahoma 34, TCU 10 – Oklahoma Sooners 2013: The Revenge Of Mike Stoops.
Florida 24, Arkansas 20 – Arkansas should change their name to the Gillette Razorbacks.
Ole Miss 30, Auburn 20 – After watching this game, you will need to take a looong, cooold shower.
Arizona State 41, Notre Dame 31 – When you get Lane Kiffin fired and you're playing Notre Dame, you get my vote.
Vanderbilt 41, Missouri 25 – Mizzou is 4-0, but they'll be missing the Big XII soon.
Ohio State 48, Northwestern 30 – Urban Meyer needs some convincing wins, because he may be on the outside looking in at the BCS title game if Oregon and Alabama finish the year undefeated.
Baylor 55, West Virginia 14 – My World Series pick is the Tampa Bay Rays. That team is on fire, they have the pitching, and they have the manager.
Stanford 35, Washington 21 – USC should try to hire David Shaw. That guy can coach. Forget about Steve Sarkisian.
