Aces? More Like Jokers.

The Red Sox season is dependent on two specific people: these people being Curt Schilling and Josh Beckett. Having lived through the 2004 World Series, plus noticing the pitching staffs of the entrants in the 2005 World Series, I think I can say quite easily that having two aces on a team make it virtually a lock for the playoffs, and certainly a very good chance at the World Series.
This is a problem. My cousin, Mike Brunell, e-mailed me today with some sobering information on the Red Sox that he wanted to share with all of us, and how the fortunes of the Red Sox almost directly correlate with the fortunes of our top two horses. It’s not pretty.
