It’s not uncommon for an athlete or musician to tweet about their favorite baseball team. Emmy Award winner Jeff Daniels, typically, isn’t one of those guys.
Until Tuesday night.
The Chelsea, Michigan native hit social media to show off his baseball knowledge, cheer on his hometown Detroit Tigers and, perhaps, even troll some Kansas City Royals fans in the process.

It’s gotta make you wonder how the box office receipts for Daniels’ next movie, “Dumb and Dumber To”, will look should the Tigers use Tuesday’s victory to catapult themselves and leapfrog the upstart Royals.
