Adam Breneman will make his college choice tomorrow. PHOTO: Facebook |
Adam Breneman just recently learned how to drive a car.
In most cases, he is just a normal high school student. He goes to church every Sunday, does his homework and plays sports year round.
But Breneman is far from normal. Tomorrow night, the high school junior will take a step into the spotlight when he announces his college choice at 7 p.m.
The #1 Tight End in the nation for the class of 2013, Breneman has more than 30 scholarship offers from schools across the country. He has it narrowed down to 4.
Notre Dame, Maryland, Ohio State and Penn State appear to be the front runners for the 6’5″, 220lb Breneman.
For Penn State, landing a recruit with the versatility and talent that Breneman possesses would be a huge step in the right direction for head coach Bill O’Brien and his new coaching staff.
With last weeks commitments from Virginia QB Christian Hackenberg and Ohio cornerback Ross Douglas (and most recently 4-star defensive end Garrett Sickels from NJ), a verbal commitment from the nation’s top TE would be an outstanding credit to what O’Brien has already accomplished in his short time at Penn State.
The last school that Breneman visited was Ohio State and head coach Urban Meyer 2 weeks ago.
