Today, Tampa Bay Lightning prospect forward Adam Erne announced (via his Twitter page) that he has signed an entry level contract with the Bolts.

The 2013 second round draft pick accumulated 21 goals, 62 points and 51 penalty minutes in 48 games this season with the Quebec Remparts of the QMJHL.
The Bolts have yet to announce the signing of Erne. Many sources believe that Erne will be assigned to the Syracuse Crunch. If he plays for Sracuse, it will be on a tryout contract because he’s still too young to play a full season there next year.
UPDATE (3:53 PM): Lightning officially announce Adam Erne signed to an entry-level deal. Will report to AHL Syracuse for rest of this season on an AHL tryout contract.
Earlier, the Lightning reassigned right wing Joel Vermin from SC Bern of the Swiss-A League to the Syracuse Crunch and reassigned forward Geoff Walker to the Florida Everblades. Vermin, 22, has spent the last five seasons with SC Bern. Vermin finished the 2013-14 season with 18 points (6g, 12a). The Bern, Switzerland native skated in 177 total games with the club, posting 81 points (31g, 50a). Vermin was drafted by the Lightning in the seventh round, 186 overall, of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. The 5-foot-11, 192-pound forward is expected to be available when the Crunch travel to Rochester Wednesday.
