Adam Gase is taking his talents to South Beach.
According to multiple sources, Gase and the Dolphins are finalizing a contract making him the next head coach of the Miami Dolphins. An announcement is expected to come on Saturday afternoon. The Dolphins made a hard push for the former Chicago Bear’s Offensive Coordinator, reportedly allowing Gase to meet with front office staff, players and even members of the sport’s science team. Gase was arguably the hottest name in this year’s coaching carousel and will no doubt have a trickle down effect throughout the rest of the league. It will be interesting to see if Gase, who is known as a “quarterback whisperer”, will be able to help Ryan Tannehill advance to a next level quarterback after having a nice season in 2015. However, he will have more to deal with than just a quarterback. Gase will inherit a Dolphin’s team that finished last(6-6) in one of the toughest divisions in football.
An press conference will be held at 3:00pm to announce the signing. The details of Adam Gase’s contract are not yet known.
