As the Cincinnati Reds enter the month of May, one thing is key for them to win…the bullpen. With a 5.13 ERA this season, the bullpen continues to struggle. Cincinnati needs to look to outside options to help hold down the lead in the late innings. In my opinion, here are some relievers I think the Reds should make a move for.
One person that comes to mind is Minnesota Twins’ reliever, Kevin Jepsen. Although Jepsen has had a rough start to 2016, his track record shows he will bounce back and have a great campaign. Last year, with the Tampa Bay Rays and Minnesota Twins, Jepsen had a 3-6 record and a 2.33 ERA.
If the Cincinnati Reds could land at least one of these reliever, I feel they will have a better chance at locking down close games and working their way to winning a World Series.
