WWE SummerSlam is coming on Sunday, August 19 and the card is shaping up to be a memorable one. Brock Lesnar will defend the Universal Championship, AJ Styles will defend the WWE Championship and Ronda Rousey may walk away with her first Raw Women’s Championship.
But some of SummerSlam‘s featured title matches may have just been spoiled. The AT&T Center’s website is currently advertising Hell in a Cell and has already announced Roman Reigns versus Kevin Owens, as well as AJ Styles versus Samoa Joe. Their Twitter account also posted an advertisement for the September 16 event. The tweet states that Jeff Hardy will face Randy Orton in a Hell in a Cell Match.

Does this mean that Hardy will regain the WWE United States Championship at SummerSlam? Hardy is booked against Shinsuke Nakamura on August 19 and many fans believe that Orton will get involved in the match at some point. Could he actually cost Nakamura the win?
The Reigns and Owens match is interesting because it is not advertised as being for the WWE Universal Championship. Does this mean that Brock Lesnar will retain his title at SummerSlam against Reigns?
[lawrence-related id=836312]Owens is facing Braun Strowman at SummerSlam for the Money in the Bank briefcase. But if he does beat Strowman, he evidently will not cash in before Hell in a Cell. So does this announcement mean that Owens will lose on August 19?
The website also states that AJ is defending the WWE Championship against Joe. Apparently Joe will not win the title from Styles at SummerSlam. It appears that these two are indeed meant to feud for much longer than some fans expected.
SummerSlam is an important event for WWE and the card does feature some high-profile main event matches. But the outcomes of those matches may now be up for debate due to the AT&T Center announcements.
Of course, as with every WWE event, the card is subject to change. It is unknown if whether or not all of this will directly impact the possible outcomes at SummerSlam on August 19.
