After every game, we'll take stock of how each individual performance affects the player's overall value.
Starters
Paul Pierce: 10 more to pass Larry Bird and become the C's second all time leading scorer. 21, 6 and 6 = doing it all (again). His value to this team is insane.
Bench
Chris Wilcox: A perfect game for Chris… 12 points on a perfect 5-5 from the field and 2-2 from the line. Add 5 rebounds all in just 12 minutes of play and we've got a hell of a game out of him.
Mickael Pietrus: He hit a couple of threes, but otherwise did nothing much to stand out.
JaJuan Johnson: A nice contribution in 22 minutes. Very impressed with the mid-range jumper. He took his shots with confidence.
Avery Bradley: We didn't see much out of Bradley yesterday, although that one play to find Johnson underneath for a dunk was nice. As Bradley continues to develop, I'll hapilly take the "he didn't hurt us out there" performance.
Greg Stiemsma, E'Twaun Moore, Sasha Pavlovic: JJ has passed Stiemer on the depth chart. Not that it will matter much. But Stiemsma has a lot of work to do. E'Twaun's run will be spotty.
Coaching
Doc Rivers: I like that he stuck with JJ for a while, and the he always had him in there with at least one starter to take the pressure off of him.
OVERALL
Another win, their 8th of 9. They're now the 7th seed but just 3.5 away from the 3rd seed. They have some challenges coming up, but for now, I'll appreciate what they've done to return to some kind of form.
