There is a game tonight, but I’m fried and I’m going to walk away from the computer for a while. Dan McCutchen goes for the Pirates and he’s got a pretty short bullpen behind him tonight, as Javier Lopez, Octavio Dotel, and DJ Carrasco aren’t in it. I’m not sure what moves the Pirates can make to shore it up, either, as the last two trades came late in the day. At least he’ll be facing Jeff Suppan (unless Jake Westbrook really high-tails it from Cleveland to St. Louis tonight).
Remember the first pitch is early (for the midwest) at 7:15. I’m not going to do a Clemente/Cangelosi update, but as usual if you make picks in the comments I’ll snag the update tomorrow.
