La chequetas azules es muy caliente. Ay papi!
Tonight the Columbus Blue Jackets defeated the Dallas Stars on the road 4-2. Wins are racking up and everyone is happy in the 614.
Highlights:
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
The Good: Nick Foligno
Pretty sure he could take this spot most nights this year. Absolute stud this year. Fancy stats were nothing to write home about but then again most of the teams weren’t due to score effects. Three assists though no matter how you slice it is some damn good stuff. Back above a point per game pace you have to love the way Foligno is playing this year. Keep riding those percentages, baby.
The Bad: Dallas Stars Fans being mean to Bert

C’mon Stars fans be better than this!
The Ugly: Fourth Line Usage
The lines didn’t make a whole lot of sense before the game and their usage didn’t make much sense either. Jared Boll had 3:28 of ice time and Jeremy Morin had only 5:20 of ice time. I understand that the team was on the penalty kill a fair amount this evening but to be successful in this league, you need to be able to roll four lines on a consistent basis. Stabilize the bottom six you will find that this team will winning more often than not.
