Jaylen Brown was the first pick for the C’s as that swirling decision for Danny Ainge was chosen and seems like the right pick for the C’s. The next pick Ainge and company have focused on was the #16 pick as I personally thought that they (Boston) would select Denzel Valentine but the Chicago Bulls swiped Valentine at the #14 pick but that does not end the pursuit of another asset for the C’s or go for a trade that Ainge that has so desperately tried to make happen.
Danny Ainge and company decided to stick with the pick and select Guerschon Yabusele, power forward out of France, who is known for his power abilities on each side of the court. Yabusele is built legitimately like a defensive tackle, has a strong vertical leap and can muscle his way to the basket while being a very talented shot blocker at this size.
Yabusele averaged 11 points a game to go along with about 6.5 boards and about a steal a game. Potential is there and he reminds me of a Jared Sullinger except on steroids. Interesting pick by the Celtics at #16.
