Per Marc Stein, the Charlotte Bobcats have struck a 3 year, $41 million deal with Al Jefferson.
Al Jefferson is heading to Charlotte on three-year deal worth estimated$41 million with opt out after Year 2, sources tell ESPN

Jefferson will make roughly 13.6 million a year, and he can opt out of his contract after year two.
Such a price tag is risky for Charlotte. While they now have a legitimate post scorer, Jefferson has always been a liability on defense, particularly in pick-and-roll situations. How much better he will make Charlotte remains to be seen. If there is a silver-lining for those against the move, it is the three year length and the opt-out clause in the final year.
