Florida State held on to the top spot in the AP Poll on Sunday, following a 20-17 victory over Boston College, but Alabama leaped the Seminoles for the #1 spot in the Amway Coaches Poll.

The Seminoles and Crimson Tide are separated by just 13 votes in the AP Poll and 12 votes in the Coaches Poll. Oregon came in third in both polls and was the only other team to receive a first place vote. The Ducks received two votes in the AP Poll and six in the Coaches.

Mississippi State was fourth in each poll followed by a pair of Big XII teams, though in reverse order. Baylor found itself fifth in AP Poll and sixth in the Coaches. TCU was fifth in the Coaches Poll and sixth in the AP.

Florida State is one of four ranked ACC teams. Georgia Tech, who will take on FSU in the ACC Championship, is ranked 16th in the AP Poll and 15th in the Coaches.

Clemson and Louisville rank 23rd and 24th in each poll. The Tigers are 23rd in the AP Poll and 24th in the Coaches. Louisville is 23rd in the Coaches Poll and 24th in the AP.

Florida State will conclude its regular season at home on Saturday against rival Florida.
