The Red Sox have one less option at short next season since Alex Gonzalez has signed a one year deal with Toronto. Marco Scutaro may be the guy to fill the spot. His agent says Scutaro wants to play in Boston:
“Boston is at or near the top of Marco’s list of where to sign but quite a few teams have expressed interest,” said his agent, Peter Greenberg…Marco has a lot of interest in coming to Boston, and he told me that from the start.”
