All-time Tennessee team — RDE

There hasn’t been a lot of stability at the right defensive end position for Tennessee. Seven different players have been the primary starter in the last ten years:
Kenny Holmes 1997-1998, 2000
Henry Ford 1999
Jevon Kearse 2001
Carlos Hall 2002-2004
Antwan Odom 2005
Travis LaBoy 2006
Kyle Vanden Bosch 2007-present
I don’t believe Ford, Odom or LaBoy contributed enough in their one year as starters to be considered for our all-time Tennessee team. Kearse earned Pro Bowl honors in his one year there, but he’s already on our team as the LDE.
That leaves Holmes and Hall, who were three-year starters, and KVB, who went to the Pro Bowl last season.
Holmes started 5, 11, 7 and 13 years in his four seasons in Tennessee, an average of nine starts per year. Hardly a model of consistency.
Hall will probably always be best remembered for his first game, when he replaced an injured Kearse and recorded three sacks of Donovan McNabb. A seventh-round draft pick, the Titans later traded him for a fifth-round pick, so you’d have to say he was a good draft choice.
KVB played two years on the left side before moving to the right side last year, where he earned a second trip to Hawaii.
