With the always highly-anticipated Notre Dame Junior Day in the books, the Irish faithful are looking for a new collection of recruits to commit to Notre Dame and continue the movement forward with Brian Kelly.
Answering a few of those hopes is Brad Carrico. Carrico is a 6’6″ 255 pound defensive end from Dublin-Coffman High School in Dublin (Columbus), Ohio. Another “Ohio” kid that may be underrated by the sceptics and overrated by the zealous.
You can never really tell with some of these Ohioans what side of the “Star” coin they may fall on…
Those types of things can be discussed on a later date with more information available.
However, there is some information that you may still find useful…
- Brad Carrico is the 1st commit of the 2011 class. It’s a Quiet Honor.
- The 2011 class will probably consist of 18-20 players.
- The Notre Dame staff has sent out over 70 offers for those 18-20 players.
- Carrico is an addition of “Need” as Brian Kelly has deemed, DE, a priority for the 2011 class.
I’ll have a more updated Eligibility Chart ready sometime during spring ball. There have been too many rumors and statements of position changes for me to whip one up.
Oh yeah…
Welcome to Notre Dame Brad!!!
Although I have no video of Carrico… here is a clip of Dublin Coffman. Enjoy:
