GAME 60 – REDS AT ANGELS
ANAHEIM – David Eckstein homered, tripled and drove in four runs to lead the Angels to a 7-4 victory over the Cincinnati Reds before 35,501 at Edison Field.
Eckstein had plenty of help from the rest of the offense, as Garret Anderson, Tim Salmon and Bengie Molina also had two hits apiece.
Angels starter Scott Schoeneweis improved to 5-4 with a solid outing, giving up one run and seven hits in 6 1/3 innings.
Angels reliever Al Levine gave up three runs in the ninth, but closer Troy Percival got the final out for his 13th save.
