The February 12th, 2015 edition of Los Angeles Angels news including Angels on the comeback trail, adding youth to veteran core and much more…

The Story: A quick look at the Angels that are on the comeback trail this offseason.
The Monkey Says: Other than Richards and Hamilton, the Angels have almost no health questions entering camp. Skaggs isn’t even really on the comeback trail as he’s been ruled out for 2015 already. Jose Alvarez is fully healthy and really only competing for where he’ll be on the minor league depth chart. C.J. Wilson is the only other big “comeback” story but we don’t know what exactly he is coming back from as nobody has been able to explain his struggles just yet.

The Story: The Angels spent the offseason complementing their veteran core with some youth.
The Monkey Says: Rebuilding on the fly while still contending is the new hot trend in the majors. Everyone is doing it.

The Story: Andrew Heaney and Nick Tropeano are two of the top names to know among young players in MLB this season.
The Monkey Says: Well, if Heaney wins the rotation spot out of camp and pitches well, then hopefully we won’t get to know Tropeano because he’ll stay in the minors, assuming the rest of the rotation stays healthy too.

The Story: Dino Ebel will be an instructor in a baseball clinic in Upland this weekend.
The Monkey Says: Is he going to run a session on how to be the recipient of high fives?
