The January 6th, 2015 edition of Los Angeles Angels news including Angels interested in Vladimir Guerrero Jr., arrest made in Bolden’s death and much more…
The Story: The Angels are interested in signing Vladimir Guerrero Junior.
The Monkey Says: As are probably most other teams since Vlad Jr. is a top international prospect. The small problem here is that the Halos are going to have a severely restricted international signing ability when Guerrero becomes eligible thanks to the $8 million deal they gave to Roberto Baldoquin. Unless they can convince him to agree to a deal but not officially sign until the 2016 signing period, they don’t stand a chance of picking him up.
The Story: An arrest has been made in the shooting death of former Angels prospect Ryan Bolden.
The Monkey Says: This is such a shame, but at least it looks like justice will be served.
The Story: Mike Trout thinks the fix might be in for the Lions-Cowboys game over the weekend.
The Monkey Says: Not really, but as a prominent Eagles fan, he probably wasn’t real happy to see Dallas win.
