The January 23rd, 2015 edition of Los Angeles Angels news including more Trout vs. McCutchen debate, Pujols has the worst contract and much more…
The Story: The best positional debates in baseball.
The Monkey Says: So apparently this Trout vs. McCutchen debate is becoming a real thing. I am sure that I am biased, but I really just don’t see how Trout isn’t the clearly superior player. Trust me, Cutch is one of my favorite non-Angels, but he is no Mike Trout.
The Story: Each MLB team’s worst contract.
The Monkey Says: So many choices! Hamilton is so close to useless and still owed so much in his final three years that I think it might edge Pujols, but I think that is because I am assuming Albert actually will keep his promise and retire before his contract expires if he starts to decline rapidly.
The Story: Huston Street is selling his home in Austin, Texas.
The Monkey Says: Even though it is spelled differently, I kind of feel like it is wrong that a guy named Huston lived in any Texas city other than Houston. I guess what I’m saying is that he’s doing the right thing. Also, it is a slow news day.
