As Ichiro Suzuki continues his quest to collect 3000 hits…more and more stories are hitting the internets.
And I’m not the least bit upset.
Ichiro’s teammate from 2009-2010, Ken Griffey Junior, revealed (for some reason) that he used to, on a daily basis, tickle the Japanese superstar until he was “drenched” in sweat.
True story.
“He would stretch for a little bit,” the 2016 Hall of Fame inductee revealed, “and when he rolled over, I would jump on him. No matter where I was at.”
Now, as if that wasn’t random enough…now there’s this.
During a stop on MLB Network’s MLB Central, Michael Morse, who played with Ichiro in both Seattle and Miami dropped this nugget.
“I will tell you one thing about him that nobody knows about,” the free agent outfielder said. “When you walk into his beautiful, humongous house, there’s a huge picture of Snoop Dogg at the front door. Think about that.”
Awesome.
